he other night was our local Blood Bowl leagues Grand Final night
(for thoes that dont know Blood Bowl is a Warhammer NFL type game made by Games Workshop there is also a PC game version which u can get on steam)
my team the Russian Bears (Dwarf) made it into the Grand Final after a good season and finishing 1st on the table only suffering 1 loss all season...
the other team in the Grand Final was the defending premiers the Cincinnati Bowties (Amazons) who i had faced twice before during the seasson ending in 1win and 1draw so i was confident going into the final knowing i had beatern them before.... but they had won the championship last season so they wernt no easy beats....
the Grand Final was a good match.... i dominated the 1st half seriously injuring several amazons and KOing 3others but sadly it was 0-0 at half time when i was dice fucked out of a touchdown on the last turn.... DAMN U DICE GODS!!!! *shakes fist at sky*
the 2nd half started and i kicked off to him after a few big hits his player got the ball and then i used to wizard to lightening bolt her and put her out of the match... leaving the ball free and easy for me to pick it up and get my supporting players around to protect the ball carrier.... the Bears held onto the ball and scored a touchdown with 1 turn to go... shattering the hopes of back to back championships for the Bowties
when the full time whistle blew the Russian Bears had won the championship with the final score of 1-0 defeating last seasons premiers and holding aloft the coverted SABBL Trophy....
